Piloted by brand ambassador J\u00f6rg Bergmeister, it set a stunning lap time of 6 minutes and 56.294 seconds, earning the title of the fastest production car with a manual transmission to date.<\/p>\n<p>The next-generation 911 GT3 comes packed with plenty of exciting features, including the Weissach package, improved suspension system, and shorter gear ratios. All of these enhancements make the 510-horsepower engine even more agile in corners and deliver a much sharper acceleration\u2014shaving off an impressive 3.633 seconds compared to the previous 992.1 model equipped with a PDK transmission. This record-breaking vehicle was fitted with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup2 R tires, and J\u00f6rg Bergmeister specifically praised its upgraded chassis, derived from the GT3 RS, which gave him greater confidence when driving over bumpy terrain.<\/p>\n<p>Notably, the 911 GT3 has smashed the record for the fastest manual production car, previously held by the Dodge Viper ACR.
