Among the many action games, when the physics engine becomes the core of design, even something as simple as moving objects turns into a complex challenge. Titles like Human: Fall Flat and Gang Beasts showcase this kind of creativity. The recently released Bashing Brutal, on the other hand, is a game that merges pure action combat with a full physics engine, promising a bloody yet highly entertaining experience.<\/p>\n

Bashing Brutal is developed by an independent studio, Amel Games. The game focuses on third-person close combat and supports online multiplayer battles, allowing players to dive into thrilling combat experiences anytime. In the game, every attack is executed through physics-based calculations, making the reactions of characters or objects struck appear strikingly realistic. Additionally, the inclusion of graphic elements is a standout feature of the game\u2014blood splatters everywhere during battles. It gets particularly satisfying when blunt weapons are used to strike the opponent\u2019s head.<\/p>\n

In addition to the basic one-on-one mode, the game also offers a variety of multiplayer modes such as one-versus-many, large-scale brawls, and chaotic four-player free-for-alls. Since all attacks are determined by physics-based calculations, combat becomes more unpredictable in large-scale battles\u2014even a simple weapon swing can have different effects depending on the target it hits. Known weapon options include bare hands, baseball bats, morning stars, knives, and batons. Each weapon has its own characteristics, with weight influencing centrifugal force and striking impact during attacks. These mechanics shape players’ offensive strategies, whether it\u2019s using lightweight weapons for rapid, disorienting maneuvers, or opting for heavy weapons to aim for a crushing one-hit knockout.<\/p>\n

Finally, the game also includes elements like environmental traps. In the trailer, there’s a scene showing a battle on a train platform where an enemy is kicked onto the tracks and then hit by a speeding train. It seems there will be quite a few special locations like this to look forward to.<\/p>\n

Bashing Brutal is still under development, and the release date has not yet been confirmed. The target platform is PC Steam.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
