Zenith A384 Tropical returns the original 1969 A384 design, pairing a warm “tropical” panda dial with the El Primero 400 movement, Zenith said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For many watch collectors, 1969 is remembered not only for cultural landmarks, but also for Zenith introducing the El Primero, the first automatic integrated high frequency chronograph movement. Zenith said<\/strong> the El Primero changed sports chronograph engineering and established the brand in high frequency timing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Among the three original models fitted with El Primero in 1969, the A384 stood out for its barrel shaped case and bold panda dial. The new CHRONOMASTER Revival A384 Tropical aims to bring that late 1960s design spirit back, while using modern materials where appropriate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
