Long Bar Macau is the kind of hotel bar that makes you want to come back, not because the drinks are flashy, but because the evening simply feels right.

Located inside the Raffles at Galaxy Macau, Long Bar Macau blends classic cocktails, a warm atmosphere, and careful service to create evenings you do not want to rush through.

The bar’s cocktail program is notable, but what leaves a deeper impression is the bar manager and head bartender, Nokoy Mak (麥朗軒), the vinyl music selection, and a mood that encourages lingering.

Good bartenders often matter more than a printed menu, and Nokoy Mak proves that point. He is a Hong Kong native who trained at Quinary under Antonio Lai (黎振南) and has more than 10 years of experience behind the stick.

Mak prefers conversation over handing you a menu. He asks whether you lean toward gin or whisky, whether you like bright fruit notes, tart balance, or a stronger spirit presence, then tailors a recommendation.

That exchange matters because a great cocktail is not only what the bartender thinks is interesting, but what the guest actually enjoys.

Service first: the Mak approach to drink recommendations
