Bentley recently collaborated with Marnie Rays and Otter Surfboards to launch a brand-new customized surfboard. This is not just a surfboard—it's a tribute to craftsmanship and the spirit of adventure.
This surfboard features Koa wood veneer crafted by Bentley's renowned woodshop in Crewe, England, the same workshop responsible for providing premium interior materials for Bentley vehicles. Through this collaboration, Bentley's exquisite woodworking expertise merges seamlessly with Otter Surfboards' handcrafted shaping techniques and Marnie Rays' advocacy for understated luxury.
The choice of Koa wood pays homage to traditional surfboard crafting techniques while showcasing Bentley's ethical commitment to material sourcing. It also reflects a century-long legacy of craftsmanship.
The official release also included a short film detailing the creation process of this surfboard, from Bentley headquarters to the manufacturing journey in Cornwall, concluding with its performance being tested on the waves. The board's body is engraved with the logos of the three collaborating brands and is set to make its debut at the VIP surfing event hosted by Marnie Rays in Cornwall.
After the event, this surfboard will be auctioned, with all proceeds donated to Surfability UK, a charitable organization dedicated to providing surfing opportunities for people with disabilities and others in need of support.
