The iX xDrive45 is powered by BMW's fifth-generation eDrive electric system, delivering a maximum output of 408hp—a significant boost of 82hp compared to its predecessor. With a peak torque of 700Nm, this vehicle accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.1 seconds. Equipped with a finely tuned suspension system and chassis control module, it ensures stability and comfort whether you're accelerating or cornering, striking a perfect balance between dynamic driving and handling experience. This new model features a 94.8kWh high-voltage battery pack, offering 30% more capacity than the previous generation, resulting in an impressive range of 490 to 602 km, an increase of 160 km that effectively addresses long-distance driving concerns. For the first time, the vehicle introduces silicon carbide inverters, enhancing energy conversion efficiency. With a drag coefficient of just 0.25 Cd and lightweight wheels made from 70% recycled aluminum alloy, the overall range and power performance have reached new heights.
In terms of design, the iX xDrive45 continues its sleek silhouette, complemented by minimalist lines and monochromatic accents that highlight both its futuristic vibe and sense of power. At the front, it’s equipped with the latest kidney-shaped grille featuring intricate texture patterns and optional illuminated borders, along with hidden sensors and radar modules. The Shy Tech design introduces a self-healing polyurethane coating that can repair minor scratches within 24 hours. For the headlights, the elongated LED design inherits BMW's iconic four-eyed look, with daytime running lights and turn signals angled slightly for better visibility. Owners can choose from 8 paint colors, including the newly launched Arctic Racing Blue and Dune Gray, and also upgrade to 21-inch aerodynamic wheels. The frameless doors, flush electric door handles, and aerodynamic side mirrors add to the overall tech-savvy aesthetic.
