Ferrari is back to challenge the pinnacle of automotive excellence with the official launch of its all-new 2+ two-door sports car, Amalfi. This model not only inherits the elegant charm of the Roma, but it also redefines the Grand Tourer segment with its exceptional driving performance, avant-garde design, and extraordinary power. At its heart lies a twin-turbocharged V8 engine from the F154 family, capable of unleashing a staggering 640 horsepower, enabling it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.3 seconds, and reach a top speed close to 198 mph (approximately 318 km/h).
To achieve optimal handling, Amalfi has engineered a front-mid engine layout that realizes a perfect 50/50 weight distribution, complemented by a more responsive eight-speed dual-clutch transmission that delivers a tight driving experience. Furthermore, Ferrari’s latest aerodynamic technologies, including an active rear wing and a reimagined chassis, ensure that the vehicle remains as stable as a hot knife through butter, whether navigating various road conditions or cruising at high speeds.
In terms of exterior design, the debut color chosen is the vibrant Verde Costiera (Coastal Green), which pays homage to the classic proportions of Ferrari while incorporating a modern minimalist style. Inside, the dual cockpit design is both elegant and tech-savvy, allowing the driver and passenger to surround each other. The interior features an integrated digital dashboard and tactile feedback controls, with the option to add a Burmester premium sound system, crafting a driving experience that marries exceptional performance with luxurious comfort.
In terms of key technology features, the Amalfi boasts advanced driving assistance technologies, including electronic braking systems, ABS Evo, the sixth-generation Side Slip Control System (Side Slip Control 6.1), and an ACC adaptive cruise control system. Additionally, optional comfort seats come equipped with massage and ventilation functions, while Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard features. Each Amalfi also includes a seven-year factory maintenance plan from Ferrari. Although the official price has yet to be announced, it is expected to start around $283,000.
