Honda is set to make a grand debut of its futuristic Gordon concept car at the upcoming 2025 Suzuka 8 Hours endurance race. This vehicle's design draws inspiration from the beloved legendary Pokémon in Pokémon Scarlet, showcasing Honda's signature manufacturing expertise and cutting-edge technology. With nearly lifelike proportions and full mobility, it promises fans an immersive experience with this adored creature.
The stunning Guleton made its debut earlier this year at the Honda Welcome Plaza, and it will continue to be showcased at the Honda Racing Gallery on August 1 and 2. Then, on August 3, this concept car will perform its first public dynamic demonstration during the pre-race ceremony, allowing numerous fans to witness its exceptional mobility capabilities firsthand.
This project enlisted around 40 Honda engineers, showcasing Honda's boundless ambition for technological innovation. The vehicle not only boasts realistic proportions and self-balancing technology, but its design closely resembles the in-game character. Its launch marks a significant achievement in the collaborative effort between Honda and The Pokémon Company, representing one of their grand missions to transform childhood dreams into reality through engineering and imagination.
