The latest high-performance hybrid supercar from Lamborghini, the Temerario, was globally unveiled earlier at the iconic Estoril circuit in Portugal. The event spanned 15 days, bringing together nearly a hundred media representatives, dealers from 56 markets, and select prospective owners to personally test-drive and experience the extraordinary performance of this groundbreaking model. The Temerario is the brand’s first production hybrid supercar equipped with a brand-new 4.0-liter V8 twin-turbo engine along with three electric motors, delivering an impressive combined output of 920 horsepower and a peak torque of 800 Nm, with a maximum rpm exceeding 10,000. It’s currently the only production model to achieve such an extreme limit.

The Temerario comes equipped with a brand new eight-speed dual-clutch transmission that allows for quicker and smoother gear shifts. Thanks to its launch control feature, the driver can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.7 seconds, and from 0 to 200 km/h in under 7.3 seconds, reaching a top speed of 343 km/h—all validated by tests conducted at the Estoril Circuit. This 4.36-kilometer track, featuring 13 corners, has witnessed numerous moments in F1 history and was the same location where Ayrton Senna tested the Lamborghini V12 F1 engine back in 1993.

To enhance driving performance, Temerario introduces 13 driving modes that cover everything from daily city commutes to extreme track use, with the all-new Drift mode making its debut. Its hybrid system not only boosts performance but also significantly reduces carbon emissions, cutting CO2 emissions during electric-only driving by 50% compared to the previous generation. Additionally, the new design offers improved aerodynamic performance, achieving a 103% increase in downforce at the rear compared to the last generation. When paired with the Alleggerita lightweight package, this downforce increases to an impressive 158%, resulting in a total aerodynamic efficiency improvement of 67%.

This lightweight package became available for customization on the day of its launch, shedding over 25kg from the body and interior. This makes the Temerario more agile and responsive during steering, braking, and acceleration. Lamborghini has also upgraded its telematics system 2.0, providing lap records and segment analysis for over 150 global tracks. Plus, it’s integrated with the Apple Watch, allowing drivers to track their heart rate alongside vehicle dynamics, further enhancing the interactive and tech-savvy driving experience.
On the interior front, the Temerario boasts a newly designed cockpit that not only provides more headroom but also introduces a high-end audio system specially tuned by Sonus faber for the first time. Combining seven independent driver units with a 750W Class-D amplifier, it delivers a frequency response range of 30Hz to 30kHz, embodying its Voice of Nature philosophy that emphasizes authentic sound reproduction rather than exaggerated tonal effects, bringing a theatrical auditory dimension to the supercar’s interior.

Customers can further personalize their experience through the Lamborghini Ad Personam program, choosing from over 400 body colors, the all-new Corsa-Tex ultra-lightweight fabric, Dinamica® microfiber, and premium leather to create their unique combination. From the exterior and aerodynamic components to the materials used in the interior, every detail can be finely tailored to perfection.
When it comes to tires, Lamborghini has teamed up with its official technical partner, Bridgestone, to develop three exclusive tires for the Temerario: high-performance custom Potenza Sport, Potenza Race, and winter-ready Blizzak LM005. All tires are equipped with Bridgestone’s virtual development technology, enhancing sustainability and design efficiency, covering 20-inch and 21-inch rim specifications, and are designed and manufactured in Europe. Some models of the Potenza Sport even offer Run-Flat technology, boosting driving safety and convenience.

Temerario is also part of Lamborghini’s ongoing efforts to promote sustainability goals. This dynamic launch event was held in accordance with the ISO 20121 sustainable event management standards and certified by TÜV Süd Technical Association, ensuring that environmental protection and social responsibility are upheld throughout the preparation, operation, and execution of the event. This is one of the sustainable event initiatives the brand has been promoting since 2022, emphasizing that each important launch held annually falls within this framework.

The Temerario merges the ultimate performance of fuel and electric power, along with exclusive personalized configurations and eco-friendly principles, further solidifying Lamborghini’s unique position in the realm of high-performance cars.
