The Mercedes-Benz Class of Creators series is back with an exciting new collaboration. American fashion designer and creative director Colm Dillane, known as KidSuper, recently unveiled his distinctive Mercedes-Benz CLA art car during the KidSuper Spring/Summer 2026 fashion show held at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris—the Louis Vuitton Louvre Museum of Decorative Arts.
This CLA art car, transformed by KidSuper, represents a handcrafted masterpiece that embodies infinite creativity and passion. The design highlights include turbine-shaped wings, playful balloon details, a unique front winch, and a rally-style roof rack, along with a slingshot that echoes childhood memories and patchwork elements printed with KidSuper's signature designs. The wheels pay homage to the 1996 Mercedes-Benz F200 concept car, while the side mirrors are inspired by the legendary Mercedes-Benz 300 SL, showcasing respect for the brand's rich history.
There’s also a limited edition Mercedes-Benz x KidSuper fashion capsule collection that draws its inspiration from the colors and designs of the CLA art car, blending the legacy and pioneering spirit of automotive engineering, while capturing the essence of car culture. This collection includes 13 pieces ranging from tailored menswear to casual wear and American workwear, all infused with retro elements. The materials chosen feature cotton, canvas, brocade, plain weave knit, wool, and vegan leather, with some pieces boasting the historic Mercedes-Benz logo, and one particular T-shirt pays tribute to the world’s first car Patent Motorwagen.
