Mattel Brick Shop has just unveiled an eagerly anticipated revival: a 1:12 scale model of the classic Mercedes-Benz 300 SL. This is one of the brand's most intricate designs to date. Co-developed by Benoit Monterroso and Craig Callum, the model is made up of 1,600 meticulously crafted pieces, featuring a mix of bricks, metal components, and customizable elements, allowing every enthusiast to revel in the joy of building.
This model measures 36 cm in length and 10 cm in height, faithfully capturing the iconic gullwing doors, bold grille, and sleek body lines. It features functional doors, a hood, and a trunk that can be opened, along with interchangeable components like wheels, seats, and exhaust pipes, allowing enthusiasts to customize it to reflect their personal style.
Another unique feature is the metal nameplate that comes with the model, which also doubles as a keychain, adding a practical touch. The intricate detailing of the spare tire in the luggage compartment further enhances the model's authenticity. Additionally, buyers of this model will receive an exclusive 1:64 scale Hot Wheels Premium die-cast Mercedes-Benz 300 SL model, complete with a transparent display case, perfectly showcasing the charm of this classic car.
