Wuling (SAIC-GM-Wuling) has officially launched the all-new four-door version of the Hongguang MINIEV, which is set to become the highlight of the market. The new model is available in three variants, with prices ranging from RMB 44,800 to 50,800 (approximately HKD 48,000 to 54,500). Compared to the existing two-door version, the four-door model offers greater practicality and space options, achieving a CLTC range of 205 kilometers.
In the Hong Kong market, the two-door Wuling MINIEV has already attracted many consumers interested in eco-friendly and economical vehicles. With the addition of the four-door version, this model has the potential to further expand its market coverage, catering to family users and various needs.
When it comes to its exterior design, the four-door version of the Hongguang MINIEV boasts a more rounded shape and comes in three brand-new color options: Puff Blue, Bubble Green, and Sweet Coffee. Compared to the two-door model, the four-door variant sees an increase in body dimensions, measuring 3,256 mm in length, 1,510 mm in width, and 1,578 mm in height, with a longer wheelbase of 2,190 mm, which is 180 mm more than the two-door version. The rear design has also been revamped, removing the tail light trim found on the current two-door model and replacing the "WULING" emblem with the brand's identifier.
In terms of interior design, the four-door version hasn't changed much, but the switch to round air vents adds a fresh vibe to the cabin. Interior features include a 7-inch instrument panel, a multifunction steering wheel, a rearview camera, and three USB ports.
In terms of power, the four-door version is equipped with a motor that delivers a maximum output of 30 kW, allowing for a top speed of up to 100 km/h. The entire range comes standard with a 16.2 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery, supporting both DC fast charging and AC slow charging. In fast charging mode, it takes only 35 minutes to charge from 30% to 80%, making it a highly practical choice.
According to the latest data, Wuling's global sales have surpassed 1.54 million units in 2024, with new energy vehicle models now accounting for over 50% for the first time. Since its launch, the Hongguang MINIEV has achieved cumulative sales of 2.4 million units, firmly ranking among the top three in the world.
