XPENG will officially launch the newly upgraded XPENG G6 SUV in the Hong Kong market in August 2025, announcing that both rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive models will debut simultaneously. This 2025 version of the G6 has undergone comprehensive optimization, with a total of 81 upgraded features spanning from the body design to the intelligent driving system, showcasing the brand’s relentless pursuit of technology and driving experience.
The new G6 makes its debut with a sleek integrated ducktail spoiler and a redesigned front end, giving it a more muscular silhouette. With an impressive drag coefficient as low as 0.248Cd, it promises enhanced power output for an exhilarating drive. Available in five fresh color options — Starry Purple, Dark Night Black, Star Vault Grey, New Moon Silver, and Nebula White, the G6 further amplifies its stylish presence.
The interior has undergone significant upgrades, particularly aimed at enhancing driving and riding comfort. The front seats have been upgraded to NAPPA leather heated and cooled massage seats, complemented by a tri-screen system that includes a 10.25-inch instrument panel, a 15.6-inch central control screen, and a newly added 9-inch electronic rearview mirror. The overall technological feel and functionality of the cabin have been notably improved.
In terms of performance, the XPENG G6 2025 model is equipped with an 800V high-voltage SiC (silicon carbide) platform, paired with a 5C ultra-fast charging AI battery that can charge from 10% to 80% in just 12 minutes. The all-wheel-drive version features a powerful 358kW motor, achieving acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in only 4.1 seconds, and boasts a range of up to 525 km, making it perfectly suited for both urban and long-distance needs.
In the realm of smart driving technology, the G6 is the only SUV in Hong Kong equipped with remote parking capabilities. With features including automatic parking, leaving remote parking, one-touch reverse, a transparent chassis, and narrow road assistance, it makes navigating busy urban traffic safer and easier than ever. The entire suite of driving assistance systems combines high-definition cameras with radar, powered by the NVIDIA Orin chip, ensuring seamless operation even in tunnels, bright lights, or low-visibility conditions, thereby enhancing overall driving accuracy.
XPENG has teamed up with the CENENAMI Automotive Group to announce the grand opening of its first limited-time showcase in Kowloon Bay. This showcase revolves around the design theme of classic Hong Kong neon lights, blending the brand logos X and Peng, as well as the slogans Kowloon Bay and LEADING THE FUTURE OF AI MOBILE, to highlight the brand’s positioning as a local Hong Kong player with a global perspective.
Tang Zhikun, head of the International Business Center at Xiaopeng Motors, stated that Hong Kong, as a crucial link to the international market, plays a vital role in the brand’s expansion into smart mobility. The launch of the new G6 model and the establishment of a showroom signify a new chapter for the brand.
