According to a recent report by Bloomberg technology expert Mark Gurman, 2027 is set to be a significant turning point for Apple, anticipating a product revolution that will bring about notable design changes.
Among the myriad of new products, one standout is the curved design iPhone made predominantly of glass, boasting a completely hole-free display that exudes a futuristic vibe. Since the launch of the iPhone X, Apple has been experimenting with glass-centric designs, and this model, marking the 20th anniversary of the iPhone, is expected to push the boundaries further, potentially hiding the front camera and Face ID technology within the screen.
Although competitor Samsung has already extended its display screens to the edges of their phones, experts remain divided on whether Apple will adopt a similar design. Observers have pointed out that Apple explored the possibility of replacing traditional bezels with a fully glass design in patents as early as 2013 and 2019.
According to Gurman’s analysis, Apple is set to launch other innovative products in 2027, including its first foldable iPhone and smart glasses that will compete with the latest technologies from Meta and Ray-Ban. The newsletter underscores that Apple’s smart technology will play a crucial role in future innovations, with smart glasses and even AirPods potentially featuring the company’s artificial intelligence technology, collecting information about the surrounding environment through additional cameras.
