Apple Music is celebrating its 10th anniversary with an exciting array of events. Among them is a brand new top-tier recording space located in Los Angeles. This three-story facility spans over 15,000 square feet and features state-of-the-art broadcasting studios, a 4,000 square foot soundstage, and a dedicated Spatial Audio mixing room.
This brand-new recording space, known as Creative Park, embodies Apple Music's decade-long commitment to high-quality audio, authentic storytelling, and a creator-centered ethos. The facility features two state-of-the-art broadcast studios equipped with immersive Spatial Audio playback capabilities and flexible setups that facilitate live interviews, discussions, or spontaneous performances.
Additionally, the 4,000 square foot Soundstage within the recording space will cater to live performances, multi-camera shoots, fan events, and screening activities. The exclusive Spatial Audio mixing room is equipped with a 9.2.4 PMC speaker system, offering an exceptional audio production experience. There are also other supplementary facilities, including a photo and social media lab, an editing and cutting room, a lounge, and soundproof rooms designed for privacy.
Rachel Newman, co-head of Apple Music, stated that Apple Music's broadcast has always been a home for artistic creation and storytelling, serving as a stage for bold conversations and surprises. The new creative space will further fulfill Apple's commitment to providing artists with an ideal environment to create, connect, and share. This recording space in Los Angeles will become a pivotal hub in a global network of creativity, which currently spans cities like New York, Tokyo, Berlin, Paris, and Nashville, with plans for even more expansion in the future.
In addition to the launch of the new recording space, Apple Music has also introduced the annual special version of Musical Memories experience Replay All Time, allowing users to revisit the songs they’ve played the most since joining Apple Music. This feature is an expansion of the existing Replay function, which previously allowed users to view their favorite songs of each year on a calendar basis. Now, Replay All Time provides a comprehensive list of the top 100 favorite songs spanning all subscription years.
The Replay All Time feature is presented on the homepage of Apple Music in a paginated format and automatically updates based on the user's complete listening history. This offers long-term Apple Music subscribers a fresh opportunity to gain a comprehensive understanding of their listening habits.
