According to a report by renowned Bloomberg analyst Mark Gurman in the latest issue of the Power On newsletter, Apple is expected to launch as many as 10 new products by the end of 2025 and early 2026. These include MacBooks and iPads equipped with the brand new M5 chip, a second-generation Vision Pro, and a smart home hub, highlighting Apple’s commitment to rolling out a series of innovative products following the release of the iPhone 17.
Ahead of Christmas, Apple is set to unveil five new products, with the first being the new iPad Pro equipped with the all-new M5 chip, expected to debut as early as October. Although there won't be major design changes to the new iPad Pro, a second front camera will be added compared to the existing 11-inch and 13-inch versions, making it easier for users to engage in portrait mode.
Launched alongside the new iPad is the second generation of the Apple Vision Pro, which also features the M5 chip and a brand new headband design. However, Gurman believes that the sales of this product may not meet expectations, and we won't see a truly lightweight Vision Pro 3 until 2027.
Additionally, the second-generation AirTag is set to launch within the year, featuring the U2 chip that significantly enhances search range and precise location capabilities. Moreover, the all-new Apple TV is expected to come with a faster processor and the N1 wireless chip from the iPhone 17 series, along with support for Apple Intelligence and the updated Siri.
The final new product of 2025 is an updated version of the HomePod Mini, focusing on a new chip and voice control capabilities, with the possibility of launching in a variety of fresh colors.
Although Apple typically unveils new MacBooks in October, this year’s MacBook Pro and MacBook Air series will be delayed until early 2026. The MacBook Pro equipped with the M5 chip is expected to debut in the first quarter of 2026, but it won't feature the significant design updates like the rumored OLED display or a slimmer body; those changes are likely reserved for a release later in 2026 or even 2027.
The updated M5 series of the MacBook Air is also expected to launch in early 2026, primarily focusing on the performance improvements of the new chip.
The highly anticipated Apple smart home hub is scheduled for official release in early 2026. Initially planned to launch in March 2025, the release has faced multiple delays to integrate the all-new Apple Intelligence Siri features. This new device will feature a 7-inch square screen, built-in camera, and rechargeable battery, all powered by the latest homeOS operating system, primarily focusing on voice control to manage various smart home devices.
Additionally, there are two more products on the horizon: a 27-inch external display that might be a new version of the Studio Display, and an entry-level iPhone 17e powered by the A19 chip. This smartphone is also expected to hit the market in the first quarter of 2026.
These 10 new products clearly demonstrate that Apple continues to have a rich product strategy even after the launch of the iPhone 17, and the M5 chip will be pivotal for updates in the 2025 to 2026 product lineup.
