Dita Audio is a brand renowned for its exquisite metalworking and dynamic sound technology, dedicated to providing exceptional auditory experiences for music lovers. Their latest release, Prelude, is positioned in the entry-level market and aims to infuse the brand's passion for music into headphones. With its delicate reproduction of vocals and instrumental tones, it invites music enthusiasts to embark on an unparalleled auditory feast.
Hailing from Singapore, Dita Audio specializes in dynamic driver technology and boasts a profound understanding of internal structures, having been honored with the Singapore President's Design Award, showcasing the brand's high level of craftsmanship. Despite its reasonable pricing, the Prelude embodies Dita Audio's stringent demands for sound quality. This model features a 10mm composite diaphragm dual magnetic circuit dynamic driver, designed based on the Truth series dynamic driver technology.
The Prelude’s dynamic drivers combine flexible polyurethane and lightweight polyethylene, providing an exceptional listening experience. With its high rigidity and lightweight characteristics, it perfectly reproduces clear musical details, while the large-diameter driver design adds a rich sense of rhythm to these headphones.
Dita Audio places great importance on the craftsmanship of their headphones. In the design of this model, they employed five-axis CNC technology to process aerospace-grade aluminum alloy, precisely cutting the panel, front chamber, and shell into three seamless components. This design not only effectively suppresses any unwanted resonance from the dynamic drivers but also harnesses the rigidity of the materials to enhance the brightness and clarity of high-frequency sound.
The panel design of the headphones features a pattern of musical notes that symbolizes Prelude, enhancing the aesthetic quality of its appearance and fully embodying the close connection between headphones and music. Additionally, the Prelude is equipped with a specially designed twisted wire cable that contains 20 strands of pure copper wire in each twist, further enhancing the reproduction of musical details.
The Prelude features a 3.5mm to USB-C adapter (ANTE) that not only delivers high-quality wired audio transmission, preventing sync issues between sound and video during streaming, but also has a built-in DAC that supports transmission rates of up to 32-bit/284kHz. This ensures users enjoy a high-fidelity listening experience across various streaming platforms.
Thanks to the synergy between its units and shell materials, the Prelude offers not only an airy soundstage but also delivers crisp and bright mid-high frequency details, ensuring that the separation and accuracy of every note are exceptionally precise.
Dita Audio also offers users liquid silicone ear tips and matte silicone ear tips, which not only ensure superior sound isolation but also enhance stability during wear. The included nylon storage case features a carabiner, making it easy to attach to a backpack or handbag, adding to the convenience of carrying it around.
The selling price is $1380.
