Nintendo has just launched the latest Switch 2, alongside Nintendo Switch 2 Secret Exhibition, aiming to provide a detailed overview of the new console's various features. However, to fully experience this new product, you not only need the Switch 2 but also additional accessories and a 4K TV to achieve the best results.
According to Nintendo's official statement, while players can access 12 areas in the game, to complete all 34 mini-games and tech demos, additional purchases of specialized peripherals are required. For instance, some mini-games necessitate specific hardware support to enhance the players' experience.
For instance, one mini-game requires a USB camera, while another needs the GL/GR buttons on the Switch 2 Pro Controller or Joy-Con 2 charging grip. Additionally, some mini-games and tech demos require a 4K TV to showcase the ideal resolution. Although players can access all areas without these accessories, to earn all three medals for each mini-game, they will need the corresponding hardware.
Some players have expressed dissatisfaction, arguing that it's unreasonable to require additional purchases to meet the game's demands. However, the original intention behind this game wasn’t to emphasize competition, but rather to showcase the various features of the Switch 2 in a fun way. Therefore, even if you miss some accessories and skip certain parts, it's totally fine.
