Punkt's recently launched MC03 Premium Secure Smartphone is designed for users who prioritize personal privacy and aims to elevate data protection to new heights. This smartphone was developed in collaboration with cybersecurity company Grip, utilizing their proprietary Apostrophy (Aphy) operating system to minimize the risks of data collection and surveillance.
The MC03 stands in stark contrast to traditional smartphones that rely on central cloud services. With its built-in Privacy Ledger privacy ledger, users can easily monitor applications' access to personal data, ensuring greater privacy protection. Moreover, this phone is equipped with a range of end-to-end encryption tools, including email, cloud storage, and communication features, further enhancing information security.
In its design, the MC03 continues Punkt's commitment to minimalist aesthetics, placing great emphasis on tactile experience and functionality. The phone boasts a 6.7-inch FHD+ display and a robust body, equipped with a 5500mAh battery that supports 30W wired charging and 15W wireless charging, ensuring long-lasting performance.
One standout feature is the physical sliding switch on the side, which can instantly disconnect the camera and microphone, enhancing privacy protection through the mechanical kill switch. Additionally, the MC03 is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor and 8GB of RAM, ensuring stable performance. It boasts a triple camera system: a 64-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2-megapixel macro lens, along with a 32-megapixel front camera, making it perfect for all your shooting needs.
The MC03 is priced at $699 and is now available for pre-order in Europe, with customers able to place orders directly through its official website. Shipping is expected to begin in late January 2026, and a launch in the North American market is planned for Spring 2026.
