Razer has recently launched a new series of gaming devices, with the standout feature being the Clio wireless headrest speakers. Inspired by the design of gaming chair headrests, this speaker seamlessly combines advanced audio technology with ergonomic comfort. Priced at $229.99 (approximately HK$1,793), the Clio can be directly mounted on high-back chairs and supports THX Spatial Audio, aiming to deliver headphone-like sound quality while ensuring comfort, allowing users to enjoy a more immersive audio experience.
Furthermore, Razer has equipped the Clio with a 5,400mAh battery, allowing for up to 14 hours of continuous use. Users can securely attach it to most high-back office chairs or gaming chairs with the adjustable nylon strap, positioning the sound unit right at headrest level. The Clio features dual 43mm full-range drivers and passive radiators, with an internal design that directs sound waves straight to the ears, offering a more focused audio experience, especially in delivering heavy bass impact.
This device supports Bluetooth connectivity with smartphones, tablets, and handheld consoles, and can utilize Razer HyperSpeed Wireless technology for low-latency connections with computers. When used alone, Clio offers an immersive 360-degree surround sound experience; when paired with additional front speakers, it can expand into a 5.1 or 7.1 channel system, enhancing the overall stereo effect.
To cater to the needs of long gaming sessions, Clio has integrated high-density memory foam into its shell, providing neck support and alleviating the pressure and fatigue that often comes with wearing over-ear headphones. Razer specifically notes that this product does not include a USB-C charging cable, encouraging users to reuse their existing devices in line with the #GoGreenWithRazer environmental initiative to reduce electronic waste.
In addition to Clio, Razer has also introduced the Basilisk Mobile wireless mouse and the Joro wireless keyboard, both of which emphasize portability and performance. Weighing in at just 76 grams, the Basilisk Mobile features a four-way scroll wheel and Razer's Focus X sensor, supporting Bluetooth, HyperSpeed Wireless, or wired connections. With a battery life of up to 150 hours, it is priced at $89.99 (approximately HK$702), although it has not yet been officially released.
The Joro keyboard features a compact 75% layout, measuring just 16.5 millimeters in thickness and weighing 374 grams. It supports both USB-C and Bluetooth connections, making it compatible with Windows, iOS, and iPadOS. It also comes equipped with dedicated Copilot keys and multi-platform label keycaps. According to the official statement, in power-saving mode, the Joro's battery can last up to 1,800 hours. Priced at $139.99 (approximately HK$1,091), it is expected to start shipping in the near future.
