At the Galaxy Unpacked 2025 event, Samsung officially launched its latest flagship foldable smartphone series, featuring the all-new Galaxy Z Fold7 and Galaxy Z Flip7. Alongside these, the brand also unveiled the latest Galaxy Watch8 series. These new products showcase a sleek and lightweight design, coupled with powerful Galaxy AI technology, marking a significant breakthrough in foldable smartphone innovation.
The all-new Galaxy Z Fold7 boasts a thickness of just 8.9 mm when folded, and it measures 4.2 mm when opened, weighing in at a mere 215 grams. It features an 8-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X main display, enhanced with Vision Booster technology, providing outstanding color contrast and clarity. The external screen measures 6.5 inches with a 21:9 aspect ratio, making it perfect for multitasking and content creation. The Z Fold7 is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, specially designed for Galaxy devices, and introduces a 200-megapixel wide-angle camera for the first time in a foldable phone. With ProVisual Engine, night video recording, and 10-bit HDR technology, users can enjoy a professional-grade experience in photography and videography.
On the other hand, the Galaxy Z Flip7 is a sleek and stylish smartphone, weighing just 188 grams when folded and measuring only 13.7 millimeters thick, making it the lightest and thinnest Flip model on the market. Its 4.1-inch Super AMOLED FlexWindow is the largest in the Galaxy Z Flip series, allowing users to access the full functionality of apps without having to unfold the device. The 6.9-inch main screen supports a peak brightness of up to 2,600 nits and a 120Hz refresh rate. Thanks to the combination of Armor FlexHinge, Gorilla® Glass Victus® 2, and an Armor Aluminum frame, its durability is significantly enhanced. Additionally, the upgraded 4,300mAh battery and AI-driven features improve the overall user experience, while the dual-camera system captures clear and vibrant images.
Moreover, the Galaxy Watch8 series emerged as another highlight of the event, featuring the Galaxy Watch8, Watch8 Classic, and the upgraded Galaxy Watch Ultra. The entire lineup has been redesigned for enhanced internal structure and incorporates a Dynamic Lug system for a more comfortable and precise fit. They all come equipped with a 3nm processor, running on Wear OS 6 and One UI 8 Watch operating systems. The new BioActive sensor introduces innovative measurement metrics such as sleep guidance and antioxidant levels, while the Galaxy Watch Ultra version offers 64GB of internal storage and a fresh titanium blue color option.
