Stone Island recently unveiled an interactive exhibition titled Friendly Pressure: Studio One during Milan Design Week, held at Capsule Plaza, delving into The Texture of Sound and offering a unique, immersive music experience. The exhibition features a dedicated Stone Island Sound studio and a week-long series of music events. These events bring together a diverse lineup of international musicians, showcasing dynamic DJ performances and interactive talks across various music styles, hosted by Shivas Brown, founder of Friendly Pressure.
At the heart of the exhibition lies a specially designed music studio, tailored specifically for Stone Island Sound. The live music performances blend various genres, creating a unique auditory journey through impromptu DJ sets and in-depth conversations. The sound system draws inspiration from decades of recording technology, combining high-quality speakers with customized acoustics to pay homage to the golden era of classic music, while also showcasing the enduring allure of cutting-edge innovation.
It's not just a collision of music and design, but a platform that bridges the past and the future, allowing visitors to experience how sound transcends the boundaries of time and culture. The exhibition is now officially open at Capsule Plaza in Milan, running daily from 10 AM to 8 PM. The public is welcome to enjoy this musical feast for free.
