The British streetwear brand Palace is steadily expanding its territory, recently revealing on Instagram that it will open a brand-new flagship store in Osaka, Japan. This marks a significant step forward in its strategy for the Asian market.
A series of mysterious images on Instagram has caught quite a bit of attention. The photos feature a skateboard printed with the text Osaka, where the letter O is cleverly incorporated into Palace’s iconic triangular logo. The post is also accompanied by a Japanese flag emoji and the Coming Soon tag, hinting that the opening of a new store is now a certainty, building anticipation.
This expansion plan continues Palace’s global strategy from last year, when the brand opened a flagship store in Seoul. Back in 2018, the brand launched its first store in Tokyo, bringing a unique British experience to local skateboarding enthusiasts.
Currently, Palace has flagship stores in London, New York, Los Angeles, Tokyo, and Seoul. Osaka will be the brand’s second location in Japan. Although the specific opening date has not yet been announced, it is believed that this will bring an entirely new retail experience to skateboarding enthusiasts in Japan.
