In their fifth collaboration, Saint Laurent Rive Droite teams up with Bang & Olufsen to launch the iconic Beogram 4000c turntable. Originally introduced in the 1970s, this turntable set the trend in audio equipment with its unique aesthetic.
In this collaboration, the two companies restored up to ten original Beogram 4000c turntables and carried out modern optimization processes. Each product is housed in an exquisite ziricote wood box, complemented by aluminum details, each with a unique serial number. The handcrafted restoration comes at a high price, with the restored turntables selling for €30,000 (approximately $31,000).
Since 2017, the collaboration between Saint Laurent and Bang & Olufsen has been on the rise, marking the first year of Anthony Vaccarello as the brand’s creative director. Previous collaborations have included products like the Beoplay 8 headphones and Beoplay speakers, along with the limited edition Beosound A9, all showcasing both brands’ dedication to high-quality audio equipment.
In addition to its collaboration with Bang & Olufsen, Saint Laurent has teamed up with Fender to launch a branch of the LA restaurant Sushi Park in Paris, hosting a series of art exhibitions in the revamped Rive Droite space. These initiatives highlight Anthony Vaccarello’s commitment to transforming Saint Laurent into a lifestyle brand.
The Beogram 4000c turntable has yet to be officially launched, but it’s expected to drop in the coming weeks at Saint Laurent Rive Droite stores in Paris and Los Angeles, as well as on the official online store.
