Cardi B’s new album Am I the Drama? is set to possibly debut at the top of the Billboard 200 chart next week.
According to a report from HITS Daily Double, initial data on Friday for this album following Invasion of Privacy indicates that its first-week streaming numbers are expected to exceed 100 million, with overall activity ranging between 125,000 and 150,000. If this news is confirmed, it would mark Cardi’s return to the top spot since her debut album in 2018.
In Am I the Drama?, Cardi B brought together an impressive lineup of artists including Summer Walker, Selena Gomez, Kehlani, Lizzo, Cash Cobain, Lourdiz, Janet Jackson, Tyla, and Megan Thee Stallion for collaboration. Although the album is not set to release until September 19, it has already achieved platinum certification ahead of time thanks to Cardi’s hit single with Megan Thee Stallion, WAP, from 2020.
