Taking place at Falcone, Prince and The Peacock, Buenos Aires Polo Club, La Vache!, and Grissini, each menu is thoughtfully curated to complement the distinctive characteristics of each wine. Brand representatives, winery family members, and professional sommeliers will be on hand to share insights, ensuring every dinner is infused with local flair and craftsmanship traditions.
Chetsheng Distillery has just announced becoming the official代理 for Italy’s historic Valpolicella winery, Allegrini, in Hong Kong and Macau. Founded in the 16th century, this winery is renowned for showcasing local terroir and winemaking craftsmanship. The inaugural dinner was held at Falcone, hosted by family member Matteo Allegrini, featuring a selection of fine wines including Amarone and Soave, paired with modern Neapolitan cuisine to celebrate the dialogue between tradition and innovation.
Following the debut of Prince and The Peacock, a banquet gathering top wineries from Spain, Italy, the USA, and Australia took center stage. The lineup included Marqués de Murrieta, Casanova di Neri, Robert Mondavi Winery, and Twinwoods. Hosted by seasoned wine critic Ronny Lau, the highlight was the 2011 Castillo Ygay Gran Reserva, crafted from a blend of Tempranillo and Mazuelo grapes. It earned an impressive 98 points from James Suckling and received 94+ scores from 11 other critics, showcasing the extraordinary potential of the La Plana vineyard’s single estate.

Another highlight of the evening was presented by Escudo Rojo, a Chilean winery founded by Baronesa Philippine de Rothschild that seamlessly blends French winemaking philosophy with Chile’s unique terroir. Silvere Maurice, the brand director for Greater China, showcased the Gran Reserva and Baronesa P. 2020. This highly acclaimed Cabernet Sauvignon blend ranked ninth in James Suckling’s Chile Top 100 Wines. It will be paired with charcoal-grilled Argentine steak at Buenos Aires Polo Club, offering a sensory experience that merges flavors in perfect harmony.

E. Guigal estate makes its grand entrance at La Vache!, hailed as King of the Long River, this legendary French winery has crafted 36 wines that boast perfect scores from Robert Parker since its inception. Brand manager Ben Bost personally introduces these masterpieces, offering a comprehensive tasting of the winery’s brewing mastery and artistic elegance—from the Northern Rhône to the Southern Rhône, all in one go, exploring the depth and aesthetic beauty of their winemaking craftsmanship.

The grand finale featured the Benefizio 50th Anniversary Gala Dinner from Frescobaldi Winery, held at Grissini. Vice President Stefano Benini personally introduced the 2023 vintage Benefizio — a Chardonnay that hails from the historic Pomino DOC region in Tuscany. With its delicate and pure aroma, it sets a new benchmark for Italian white wines.
