To celebrate the upcoming release of the blockbuster game Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, Kojima Productions has teamed up once again with design brand Anicorn to bring a key item from the game, Ring Terminal, into the real world. This 1:1 replica perfectly recreates the terminal ring worn by characters like Sam Porter Bridges and Fragile, continuing the successful trend set by the previously launched Cufflinks.
This Ring Terminal is crafted from durable brass and steel alloys, combining advanced electroforming techniques with precise five-axis CNC machining. It comprises 30 intricately designed components, showcasing exceptional craftsmanship. Its unique adjustable design fits various finger sizes, while the customized electroplated finish faithfully represents the colors from the game. Over time, it naturally oxidizes, giving each piece a distinctive sense of age and individuality.
Additionally, the Ring Terminal seamlessly incorporates NFC technology, allowing users to forge symbolic connections with the immersive world of Death Stranding 2. While the display screen doesn’t serve any practical function and is purely aesthetic, it undeniably adds depth to the story of this object.
