In the latest content update, SEGA has announced that Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles 2 will unlock the ultimate series villain Muzan Kibutsuji as a playable character. After applying the latest patch, players can control Muzan in both local and online versus modes. This free update is available for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Steam versions.
In addition to Muzan, the official release also includes a paid DLC Infinity Castle Character Pass, which will introduce seven new character packs in batches. These characters are drawn from the newly released Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle movie and will be gradually launched this autumn through multiple updates. The first wave of the character pass will feature Kaigaku, followed by Zenitsu Agatsuma (Infinity Castle version), and the complete lineup will also include Tanjiro Kamado, Giyu Tomioka, Shinobu Kocho, Doma, and Akaza. Players can choose to purchase the pass for all characters at once or buy each character pack individually according to their needs.
