Set against the backdrop of recent criminal events in Southeast Asia, the latest game Escape from the Fraud Paradise: Breaking Free from Scams (Escape the Fraud Factory) has launched its page on the Steam store. Players will embody a fraud victim Piglet and team up with friends to escape this hotspot of cyber scams. Developed by ZIGE Games, this title offers a first-person perspective action-adventure puzzle experience, supporting up to four players in online co-op.
The storyline revolves around a young person lured to Southeast Asia. Attracted by a high salary, you fly to the destination only to find yourself in a nightmare where your passport and phone are seized. Ultimately, you are forcibly sent into a scam operation, becoming a Piglet. Here, you and your friends must work together to uncover clues and find a way to escape.
The core gameplay is similar to the Escape Artist (The Escapists) series, where players must navigate a semi-open world, evading guards and escaping the pressure of electric shocks while avoiding capture. You need to observe patrol patterns, master stealth, and help each other out, solving various puzzles like breaking through access doors, disabling control rooms, and cutting off power.
According to the introduction, even if you manage to escape the compound, you’re still facing countless challenges. In the dark forest, you must find a flashlight and emergency equipment to call for help from the outside world. The game features multiple endings and several side missions, allowing players to either focus on survival or disrupt servers, rescue other victims, gather evidence of fraud, and even team up with partners to combat the entire fraudulent system during their escape.
Escape from the Fraud Paradise: Breaking Free from Scams is currently in development and is scheduled for release in the first quarter of 2026. It will support Traditional Chinese on the PC Steam platform, allowing more players to experience this challenging and thrilling game.
