Developed by Team Cherry, Hollow Knight: Silk Song (Hollow Knight: Silksong) is set to officially launch on September 4, 2025. It will be available on Xbox Series X|S, PS5, NS|NS2, and Steam, and will be available on Xbox Game Pass on the day of its release.
Since the release of the previous installment in 2017, Hollow Knight, this game has earned high praise among players and has become one of the most captivating Metroidvania titles in recent years. In Song of Silk, players will take on the role of the former female protagonist and the princess of the Insect Sanctuary, Bumblebee. At the start of the story, Bumblebee unexpectedly arrives at The Fallen Insect Kingdom: Falurum, setting players on a journey to uncover the reasons behind her arrival.
Compared to its predecessor, Song of Silk features an even larger map, sprawling across a variety of regions including moss-covered caves, grand, opulently adorned cities, and fog-drenched wastelands. Additionally, the combat system has been adapted alongside the protagonist's evolution, with weapons shifting from the previous game's bone spikes and spells to needles and threads, unlocking a diverse array of weapon choices as players delve deeper into the exploration.
Currently, this game features over 200 types of enemies and more than 40 intense bosses for players to face off against. In addition to the main storyline, there are plenty of side quests and puzzles waiting for players to solve.
Please note that the Hollow Knight: Silk Song interface does not support Traditional Chinese and only offers English and Simplified Chinese language options.
