Side-scrolling arcade brawlers have always captivated players, and the upcoming "My Night Job" is set to make its debut on the Nintendo Switch. Singaporean publisher Soft Source and Brazilian developer Webcore Games have announced this title, originally released on Steam, is getting a port for the Switch platform. The game's style may evoke memories of the classic arcade hit "The Simpsons," but it's undeniably smoother, making the monster-slaying experience even more exhilarating.
In "My Night Job," players dive into an abandoned building at night, facing a horde of monsters while trying to rescue trapped survivors. Not only do players need to guide them to safety, but they must also protect themselves. The game features over 60 types of weapons, including vases, chainsaws, shotguns, and massive hammers, but you can also opt to go bare-knuckle against your enemies. The demo seems to suggest that reaching certain conditions can trigger a "rage" mode, enhancing the character's combat and mobility abilities.
Based on the current information, players have their own health points, and every room built within the game also has durability. If a room gets destroyed too much or runs out of health, the player faces failure. The game features 11 types of monsters, and as time progresses, the difficulty gradually increases, allowing every player to truly enjoy the thrill of the challenge.
《My Night Job》 is scheduled to launch on February 27 and will support Traditional Chinese. Stay tuned for its exciting performance on Nintendo Switch!
