Nubs!: Arena is an exhilarating 2D multiplayer battle arena game that supports up to 4 players in local matches or up to 20 players in online battles. Players take on the roles of creatures known as Nub, engaging in fierce combat within the tight confines of underground ruins-turned-arenas. The arenas are filled with deadly traps and treasure chests containing new weapons or power-up items. Players can equip up to two weapons, choosing from swords, bows and arrows, boomerangs, magic wands, or even fish. Interestingly, players can also steal weapons from defeated opponents, adding an extra layer of strategy and thrill to the gameplay.
The objective of this game is to defeat your enemies. Even if you're eliminated, you can escape in a spirit form and then revive to rejoin the battle. At the end of each round, players are given a choice of one out of three randomly selected upgrades, such as increased starting health, enhanced movement speed, equipping a specific weapon at the beginning of a round, or throwing a massive explosive bomb upon death. According to the latest updates, the game will feature a variety of modes, including deathmatch and team battles, with a total of five combat rounds.
Scheduled to launch on May 15, with a 24-hour limited-time free event on the release day, players will be able to experience this uniquely styled game on the PC Steam platform.
