The latest released trailer reveals that season 2 of Hell’s Paradise: Jigokuraku will open a brand new chapter for viewers, and it also features the first glimpse of an entirely new ending theme.
In this promotional clip, the chaotic scenes on the mysterious Shinsenkyo island escalate continuously, as the surviving death row inmates team up with Yamada Asaemon the executioner to battle increasingly lethal supernatural beings. This work is adapted from the manga of the same name by Yuji Kaku, which has amassed over 6.4 million copies in circulation, produced by MAPPA and directed by Kaori Makita.
Following the successful reception of Season 1, this season will delve deeper into the conflicts between characters and expand the entire storyline’s universe. With the shogunate ordering an additional landing The Island of the Undying, the plot is set to intensify even further. The Japanese alternative pop band QUEEN BEE will present a brand new ending theme PERSONAL, while the opening theme will be led by Tatsuya Kitani featuring BABYMETAL’s The Flower of Kasuka.
The second season is set to premiere in Japan on January 11, 2026, and will be made available for international audiences on platforms such as Prime Video, Netflix, and Lemino.
