The globally renowned fighting game Street Fighter is set to be adapted into a live-action movie, created in collaboration between Legendary Pictures and Capcom, which has garnered significant attention from gamers. Recently, the official cast list has been unveiled, confirming that the film will have its world premiere next October.
The protagonist of this film, Long, is portrayed by the martial artist Andrew Koji, who has a mixed English and Japanese heritage. Another key character, Ken, is played by the popular internet star Noah Centineo. The female lead, Chun-Li, is presented by the rising star Callina Liang.
Additionally, the sumo wrestler Honda in the movie will be played by New Japan Pro-Wrestling star Hirooki Goto, while Hollywood actor Jason Momoa will transform into the fierce Blanka. Renowned rapper 50 Cent will also join the cast as the formidable M. Bison.
One of the highlights of this production is the casting of pro wrestling superstar Roman Reigns as Gouki/Akuma, while current WWE Champion Cody Rhodes takes on the role of Guile. Adding to the excitement, former UFC Featherweight Champion Alexander Volkanovski will portray the original character Joe.
