The premium Japanese menswear brand A.PRESSE has teamed up with Tokyo select shop everyone Tokyo to launch a brand-new collection. The spotlight is on an elegant blazer and trousers, showcasing a minimalist yet sophisticated aesthetic.
Designer Kazuma Shigematsu continues to focus on the philosophy of creating individual pieces rather than themed collections. This collaborative series highlights his signature minimalist style. The blazer and trousers are crafted from wool gabardine, a fabric known for its exceptional drape. The loose yet structured tailoring makes them ideal for warmer climates. The trousers feature a delicate pleated waistband—a subtle yet understated detail that perfectly balances the overall design. In contrast to A.PRESSE’s Spring/Summer 2025 collection, which includes vintage-inspired pieces like the Vintage Denim Coverall Jacket and Vintage Black Chambray Work Pants, this collaboration opts out of artificial dyeing and distressing techniques. Instead, it embraces a clean, refined approach to tailoring, showcasing the brand’s meticulous attention to detail.
As the theme of the 2025 Met Gala Tailored for You red carpet approaches, menswear tailoring has become the spotlight of the fashion stage. From luxury brands like Louis Vuitton to streetwear labels like Noah, everyone is diving into the tailoring game with a bold attitude. Earlier this year, Pharrell Williams unveiled his New Formal tailoring collection for Louis Vuitton, redefining modern formalwear. Meanwhile, Noah launched its 199 Mulberry experiential space in New York, focusing on premium men’s suits. Riding this wave, the collaborative collection between A.PRESSE and everyone Tokyo stands out with its minimalist yet elegant design.
The A.PRESSE x everyone Tokyo collaboration series will officially launch soon at the A.PRESSE Tokyo flagship store and everyone Tokyo’s online shop.
