Balenciaga recently unveiled its latest campaign for the High Summer collection, captured through the lens of Roe Ethridge. The campaign beautifully showcases the unique interplay of light and shadow reminiscent of luxury resort advertisements. This series masterfully combines refined portraiture, dynamic visuals, and still-life compositions, perfectly recreating the irresistible allure of a dreamy vacation vibe.
Set against a backdrop of sunsets, white sands, and shimmering waters, the ad unveils breathtaking scenes of classic coastlines, beaches, and pools. Paired with the sophisticated tagline of a luxury vacation campaign, the overall vibe sweeps viewers into a dreamy getaway. The ad also employs computer-generated imagery (CGI), creating a hyper-realistic experience that feels almost tangible, delivering truly stunning visual effects.
Models like Sonja, Estelle, Claudia, Liz, Simon, and Bai don pieces from the High Summer collection, featuring breezy knit dresses, bikinis adorned with BB buckles and Loop Sports Icon logos, and velvet swimsuits with heart-shaped necklines. Additionally, this season's styling introduces standout new items from the Summer and Autumn 2025 collections. Think long scarf-style robes, oversized coats, rounded Harrington jackets, and loose-fitting short-sleeve shirts, all paired with calf leather sandals created in collaboration between Balenciaga and Scholl.
The advertisement also spotlighted a variety of brand-new handbags, including the Le City Basket bag crafted from raffia and lambskin, infusing the classic series with a touch of summer vibes. Additionally, it showcased the Carrie bowling bag in grained calfskin and the Le City bag in khaki canvas. The still-life compositions further featured the Le City bag in washed denim and several key accessories such as ski goggles, the Le City Basket bag, and the Biarritz tote bag in black calfskin.
