When gaming culture collides with street style, Japanese brand BEAMS is back at it, teaming up with PlayStation to launch an all-new apparel collection. This collab celebrates the legendary console's 30th anniversary, blending minimalist lines with retro aesthetic features, and includes hoodies and pullovers.
This collection features hoodies and pullovers available in black and gray. The pullover is decorated on the front with classic game controller symbols—triangle, circle, X, and square—while the back showcases the PlayStation logo. Another version simply displays the word "PlayStation" on the front.
The hoodie features a nostalgic, vibrant colored PlayStation logo, particularly highlighted by the red P letters paired with yellow, green, and blue underlines. This logo first debuted with the original PlayStation console in 1994, crafted by designer Manabu Sakamoto, and has since become a central element of the brand's visual identity. The back of the hoodie also showcases a breakdown diagram of the PlayStation 1, available in black and gray options.
