Renowned sci-fi manga artist Hiroya Oku teams up once again with the Japanese streetwear brand 417 EDIFICE to launch an all-new capsule collection, channeling the distinctive gloom and dystopian vibes of his work into contemporary street fashion. The second drop of the series focuses on striking character designs, where substantial fabrics beautifully complement sharp cuts.
This collection features two hoodie designs and four long-sleeve T-shirts, with color options including black and grayish-white. Notably, all illustrations are personally created by Hiroya Oku, drawing inspiration from his first self-published digital art book Hiroya Oku COLORWORKS, released last August. The illustrations focus on fan-favorite characters from the manga, including the protagonist Kei Kurono and his girlfriend Tae Kojima, along with the three female leads Reika, An Yamasaki, and Mary McKlain, as well as the popular Joichiro Nishi.
The 417 EDIFICE x GANTZ collection is priced between ¥9,900 JPY and ¥13,200 JPY (approximately $60 to $80) and is currently available for pre-order through online channels, with shipments expected to start in early February.
