To pay tribute to the legendary British band Blur, Levi’s has launched an all-new band T-shirt collection, showcasing the profound influence this group has had on music over the past three decades. Known for their striking lyrics and innovative sound, Blur has remained an integral part of British culture. This collection aims to capture their iconic moments from the ’90s.
The Levi’s x Blur Band T-shirt collection draws inspiration from the brand’s iconic 1990s logo, symbolizing Blur's monumental breakthrough onto the global music stage. The collection features three distinct T-shirt designs: a white tee with a blue background that highlights the Blur logo, a black tee with a red background complementing the logo, and a sea-blue tee showcasing the album cover from 《The Great Escape》—celebrating its 30th anniversary. To preserve the unique vintage vibe of the T-shirts, each piece features the classic woven neck label design from the ‘90s, with meticulous details that honor the texture and craftsmanship of that era.
During an interview, Leo Gamboa, Levi’s Senior Director of Global Collaborations and Customizations, stated: Levi's has always had a close connection with music culture. We hope this series of T-shirts resonates with Blur fans as classic pieces—authentic, timeless, and made to stand the test of time. Blur, a band formed by Damon Albarn, Graham Coxon, Alex James, and Dave Rowntree, released the album Modern Life Is Rubbish in 1993, which revolutionized the landscape of British pop music and propelled the band to legendary status.
The Levi's x Blur band T-shirt collection is now officially available on the brand's official website, select retail stores, and the Levi's® App.
