Louis Vuitton recently made an official announcement about opening a new flagship store in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles, spanning an impressive 45,000 square feet. This upcoming location is set to become a significant hub for the brand on the U.S. West Coast. According to WWD, the store will be situated at the intersection of Beverly Drive and Rodeo Drive. The iconic architect Frank Gehry will oversee the store’s design, while the luxurious interior spaces will be curated by renowned retail design expert Peter Marino.
This new flagship store will showcase the full range of Louis Vuitton products, including menswear and womenswear, fragrances and beauty products, watches and jewelry, as well as a variety of travel goods. Additionally, the store will feature a permanent exhibition space and multiple dining areas, offering a comprehensive display of the brand’s lifestyle experience.
According to the official introduction, this building will consist of two interconnected structures linked by a pedestrian skybridge. The exterior design employs overlapping curves to achieve a modern aesthetic, while the rooftop has been specially planned as a lush green garden, creating a space where nature and architecture merge seamlessly for visitors to enjoy.
Additionally, it is worth noting that LVMH once planned to construct a flagship space in Beverly Hills that would include the Cheval Blanc luxury hotel. However, their plans were thwarted due to opposition from residents and the city council. Now, with Louis Vuitton making its return to the area in a grander manner, it will undoubtedly serve as a significant emblem in the brand’s expansion journey.
