With the addition of Pharrell Williams, Louis Vuitton is further infusing musical elements into its brand image. The brand is set to launch a brand new line of accessories in Spring 2025, continuing to showcase the style of retro music technology.
The newly launched bag collection features a particular shoulder bag inspired by the iPod. This small bag is crafted from high-quality leather and resembles the mini Amazone bag by LV, complete with a small window on the front that mimics the iPod’s screen, displaying a fully charged battery bar, a play button, and the text “Louis Vuitton Collection Spring 2025,” cleverly replacing the song title. The LV monogram design pays homage to the iPod’s scroll wheel, while the “18:54” printed on the bag carries special significance, referencing the founding year of LV. The zipper pull is ingeniously designed to resemble two golden earbuds intertwined, showcasing the thoughtful artistry behind the design.
In addition, there’s a wearable wallet mimicking a cassette player, featuring symbols for pause/play, fast forward, and rewind on the front, further emphasizing the nostalgic music theme. There’s also a cardholder designed to look like a cassette, showcasing icons for “Side A” and “Side B,” resembling a real tape, complete with LV logo headphone graphics inside, undoubtedly adding a unique detail to the overall design.
