Porsche has once again joined forces with California's surfing brand, Almond Surfboards, to unveil the second season of their limited edition collaboration, inspired by the iconic 1972 Porsche 911 Carrera RS 2.7. This collection features a 6-foot winged tail surfboard designed for professional surfing, handcrafted in California. It boasts a base color of Grand Prix White, accented with racing stripes in blue, red, or green, perfectly capturing the color scheme of the original RS model. Only 72 of these limited edition surfboards will be available globally, each priced at $3,000.
In addition to surfboards, this collaborative collection also features a range of casual clothing and accessories that blend the surf culture of Southern California with Porsche's impeccable craftsmanship. The product lineup includes T-shirts priced at $75, hats set at $45, and a unique faded blue sweatshirt available for $155. Additionally, there are collectible items such as beach towels, surf shorts, canvas tote bags, hand-sewn surf flags, sticker sets, and model cars. The entire collection embodies the spirit of Single Fins & Air Cooled Engines.
Karsten von Engeln, President and CEO of Porsche Design of America, stated: The Carrera RS 2.7 is one of the most revered models in the history of the 911, and this collaboration highlights the essence of its brand.
