Converse just dropped a fresh new line of retro runners and snagged none other than aespa's KARINA, the South Korean sensation, as the face of this collection. KARINA’s unique charm amps up the allure of this oh-so-chic series.
The latest collection includes three retro sneakers, each designed for the modern lifestyle, paying homage to the running craze from the late '70s to the early '80s. We're talking about the Wave Trainer, a classic throwback for the retro enthusiasts; the Omni Trainer, a city slicker's vintage dream; and the Omega Trainer, rocking that old school collegiate vibe.
The Omega Trainer is an epic remake of two classic '80s sneaker styles, keeping the soul of the original designs while cleverly blending retro hues with a modern aesthetic. Its streamlined look features a high-quality leather Chevron logo, topped off with a lightweight EVA sole to ensure every step feels like walking on clouds. As for the Omni Trainer, it draws its inspiration from '80s training shoes, sporting a soft suede patched upper accented with a leather Chevron. The Wave Trainer steps it up a notch, offering a fresh take on the classic retro running shoes, with suede patchwork and Chevron embroidery that bring a dynamic mix of materials and colors to the table, adding an extra dash of style. Each of these sneakers represents a thoughtful amalgamation of nostalgia and contemporary flair, making them absolute must-haves for the fashion-forward crowd.
At the same time, Converse has also launched a series of retro casual wear, expected to hit the shelves alongside the footwear collection at major designated Converse stores soon.
