It has been almost a year since adidas launched the groundbreaking 3D-printed shoe, the adidas Climacool. This highly anticipated sneaker not only hit the market but also collaborated with Kith for a limited-edition release. Now, the Climacool series is making a powerful comeback in a brand new form adidas Climacool Laced.

The Climacool Laced was officially previewed last month, featuring significant innovations built upon its predecessor. The most notable updates include a new woven lacing system and a breathable shoe tongue. This upgraded sneaker continues the Climacool series' impressive 360-degree airflow design and enhances the wearing experience through an adjustable upper that offers a more flexible and tailored fit.

The first revealed colorway is a versatile Off White. The 3D printed sections of the shoe maintain a creamy white hue, showcasing a sense of purity from the three classic comfort textures on the side to the overall upper. The black details cleverly highlight the brand new lacing system and the mesh tongue, making the entire shoe visually stand out even more.

HOKA has teamed up with Australian professional cycling apparel brand MAAP to launch a new collaborative sneaker. This partnership fuses the performance of running shoes with the core design principles of cycling, reinventing the HOKA Tecton X2 with a more striking aerodynamic aesthetic, infused with MAAP's unique design details.

This collaborative sneaker features HOKA's renowned Tecton X2 outsole, equipped with a propulsion-enhancing carbon fiber plate that delivers exceptional running performance. The colorway showcases the iconic Lime Soda hue, with a neutral off-white body that runs throughout the cushioned midsole, textile upper, and sleek overlays. Inside, a refreshing aqua accent pops, while the laces and heel in lime green beautifully complement the deep green outsole, creating a visually striking and harmonious look.

In this design collaboration, HOKA hands over creative control to MAAP, allowing the distinctive brand characteristics of MAAP to shine through. The shoelaces feature the MAAP logo, while the logo also appears on the upper part of the shoe and on the insole. The reflective strip in the center of the outer shoe body mirrors the details found in MAAP's high-performance cycling apparel, showcasing the thoughtful design synergy of both brands.

The functional footwear brand RAD has launched a new suede version of its Hybrid Penny Loafers CALE from last year’s collection, as part of its latest Spring/Summer offerings. The CALE Penny Loafers feature a robust running sole made with Italian Vibram® technology, ensuring a lightweight and comfortable experience, while the traditional hand-stitched moccasin body is presented with a contemporary athletic aesthetic.

The latest color inspiration is drawn from the sands and mud found in nature, featuring earth tones with Camel and Mocha suede that seamlessly integrates natural elements into the brand's philosophy, perfectly aligning with the urban everyday style. The entire collection is crafted in collaboration between HOAX and Japanese designer Seiji Takao, blending technological innovation with traditional craftsmanship to reinvent classic footwear.

This year, Nike celebrated the 25th anniversary of the Air Superfly by reissuing this classic sneaker, and now the brand is collaborating once again with its long-time partner, Dover Street Market, to unveil a fresh co-branded version. Thanks to its understated silhouette and sleek design, the Air Superfly serves as a perfect canvas for showcasing minimalist aesthetics, reinterpreting vintage running shoes and infusing them with a unique brand flair.

The latest collaboration between Nike and DSM features the Air Superfly sneakers, which maintain the core elements of running shoes. They showcase a breathable design with perforated leather uppers and incorporate suede details, highlighting DSM's refined touch in fashion. Additionally, the shoe's tongue is adorned with a logo that combines the Hut Logo, designed by DSM founder Rei Kawakubo, with the Nike Swoosh, enhancing the collaborative appeal.

New York's renowned denim brand 3sixteen has teamed up with sneaker brand Saucony to launch an exciting new collaboration, centered around the Peregrine 15 trail running shoe, creating a series called Gesso. The Gesso draws inspiration from the paints used by artists for their canvas backgrounds, symbolizing an enhanced absorption of pigments. This collection is designed to serve as a creative canvas, inviting wearers to reinterpret the shoes in a personalized way, showcasing their unique style.

The first wave of releases is set to debut soon, featuring colorways for Indigo and Sunflower. The complete collection includes a total of four colorways, all crafted using natural dyes developed in collaboration with Green Matters Natural Dye Company. Due to the varying materials, each pair undergoes a unique natural dyeing process, resulting in subtle differences that create a distinct mottled effect, showcasing the individuality of each shoe.

This collaboration has undergone months of experimentation with various shoe styles and materials, meticulously blending shapes and color combinations. Beyond the initial design, 3sixteen encourages consumers to get involved in the creation process by using natural elements like coffee beans and plant dyes to further customize their footwear. This approach isn't limited to new styles; it breathes new life into old shoes, extending the narrative of each pair.
