The renowned Japanese sports brand Mizuno is celebrating the 40th anniversary of its iconic football boots, Morelia. To continue this legendary journey, Mizuno Sportstyle will be launching a brand new exclusive version, the Wave Prophecy Morelia Neo.
Since its debut in 1985, the Morelia football boots have been synonymous with lightweight design, flexibility, and a barefoot feel, becoming a trusted ally for players at all levels. The brand's journey dates back to 1983, when it began developing the boots in hopes of launching them during the 1986 World Cup in Mexico. Brazilian football star Careca donned Morelia during that tournament, ultimately winning the Silver Boot and etching a glorious chapter for the brand in the global sports arena.
The all-new Wave Prophecy Morelia Neo brings together Mizuno's two key sports lines—football (Morelia) and running (Prophecy)—merging traditional design principles with futuristic aesthetics to showcase a fresh visual style. This is undoubtedly a bold attempt by the brand in football boot design.
The all-new Wave Prophecy Morelia Neo is priced at HKD $1,990 and will be available for limited release soon at the MIZUNO Sportstyle HK store located in Tsim Sha Tsui K11 Art Mall. In addition, Mizuno Sportstyle HK plans to launch a customization service by the end of the month, with more details to be announced on MIZUNO's official page—this is an opportunity that fans and running enthusiasts won't want to miss.
