Following last year's talked-about release, the 1906L sporty loafers, New Balance is back with an exciting new shoe model, the 1890. This latest design was sneak-peeked by the brand's senior marketing manager, Lee Stuart, and it has everyone eagerly anticipating what's to come.
The showcased 1890 sneakers feature a unique U design, seemingly inspired by the classic Clarks Wallabee kangaroo shoes. The upper is crafted from soft yellow leather, enhanced with a snakeskin overlay, perfectly complementing the black running shoe sole unit. Plus, it’s equipped with ABZORB cushioning technology, delivering exceptional comfort.
Similar to the 1906L shoe style, the 1890 features a subtle brand logo. The design is cleverly executed with the words N beneath the lacing system, while the outer heel is adorned with ABZORB. The model name 1890 is clearly marked on the insole, showcasing the brand's distinctive characteristics.
Currently, New Balance has not disclosed the specific release date or complete design details for the 1890. However, it's expected to launch through official channels and selected retailers within the next year, maintaining a boutique sales model similar to that of the 1906L.
