To mark the one-year anniversary of the norda 005 trail running shoes, the brand has introduced two new colorways, "Laser" and "Comet," as part of its SS26 "KALEDISCOPIC" collection. The new designs take inspiration from the adrenaline-pumping Group B rally racing of the 1980s.
The "Laser" colorway features a clean white base accented with fiery red and black trim, along with gold highlights that embody the speed and spirit of trail racing. In contrast, the "Comet" version revisits a light gray "Neve" base, complemented by dark lace loops and bright pink accents for a visually striking effect.
Both models retain the signature lightweight and seamless structure of the norda 005, with uppers crafted from bio-circular Dyneema®, a material that is 15 times stronger than steel yet remarkably breathable. For the first time, the brand has added racing-inspired graphic details to the upper, emphasizing the patented technology behind its Arnitel® TPEE midsole foam and Dyneema® construction.
The norda® Fit Lock System ensures a precise fit, combined with a breathable micro-suede tongue and enhanced bio-circular Dyneema® laces, which have been engineered to be four times stronger. Additionally, the shoes feature a Vibram Megagrip Elite outsole paired with Litebase technology. This design incorporates various lug patterns for adaptability across technical terrains, while reducing the overall sole weight by 30%.
