Breitling has unveiled the all-new Navitimer B19 perpetual calendar chronograph, marking the first time the brand’s in-house developed B19 movement is incorporated into a non-limited edition series. This timepiece features a 43mm stainless steel case paired with a platinum bezel, elegantly merging an ice blue dial with a moonphase display, while its classic design gets a modern twist. The mushroom-shaped pushers ensure smooth operation of the chronograph functions, and the transparent case back reveals the beauty of the movement in action. Wearers can choose between a black crocodile leather strap or a seven-row stainless steel bracelet, both equipped with a high-end clasp design.

The B19 movement is a groundbreaking creation by Breitling in recent years, featuring a perpetual calendar function that automatically adapts to the varying lengths of months and leap years, ensuring accurate time display for up to 100 years. This movement offers 96 hours of power reserve and is certified by the Swiss Official Chronometer Testing Institute (COSC). The brand has even simulated 16 years of aging tests to ensure the movement’s durability, including 100,000 winding tests, 3,456,000 automatic winding rotor rotations, and 60,000 impact tests at 500G, showcasing the ultimate precision and reliability of Swiss watchmaking craftsmanship.

Since its debut in 1952, the Navitimer has been a beloved choice for pilots and watch collectors alike. Its iconic circular flight slide rule allows for flight calculations and has been adored by celebrities like Miles Davis and Serge Gainsbourg, making it a symbol of the jet age. Today, the all-new Navitimer B19 takes this classic timepiece to new heights, combining a century-old self-made perpetual calendar movement with traditional flight calculation functions, showcasing the brand’s commitment to precision timing and innovative technology.

Georges Kern, the CEO of Breitling, stated: “The name Navitimer represents classic heritage, and with the addition of the B19 movement, this watch becomes even more collectible. It’s not just a timepiece; it’s a work of art that can be passed down through generations.” This new creation not only retains the Navitimer’s signature professional flying features but also integrates the precision engineering of high-end watchmaking, further solidifying its status as a classic pilot’s watch.

The suggested retail price of this watch is HKD 229,200 for the leather strap version and HKD 233,100 for the metal bracelet version.
