Recently, Bugatti has once again perfectly merged cutting-edge supercar technology with the art of luxury watchmaking, collaborating with Jacob & Co. to launch two new timepieces: the Bugatti Tourbillon and the Bugatti Tourbillon Baguette. These designs embody the essence of Bugatti's latest supercar, showcasing a lineage that is evident in both mechanical aesthetics and an innovative spirit.
The Bugatti Tourbillon watch reinterprets the dashboard of supercars from a fresh perspective. On the left side of the dial, it features Jacob & Co.'s fastest flying tourbillon in history, a remarkable 30-second piece, while the center displays subdials for hours and minutes, and below shows an impressive 80 hours of power reserve. Moreover, its engine compartment is crafted from sapphire crystal, housing 16 titanium pistons that move in sync when the button is pressed, mimicking the roar of the Bugatti V16 engine.
This watch features a case size of 52 × 44 mm, with design inspiration drawn from Bugatti’s iconic elements, including the radiator grille, rear wing, and side panels resembling the sapphire window of car window, perfectly showcasing Bugatti's design language. For those seeking something even rarer, the Bugatti Tourbillon Baguette version elevates luxury to an extreme, featuring 328 rectangular-cut diamonds, 18 rubies, all set in an 18K white gold case, with a global limit of just 18 pieces, embodying the essence of high-end jewelry.
The Managing Director of Bugatti International, Wiebke Ståhl, stated: "Bugatti and Jacob & Co. continue to advance in the realms of engineering and art, creating each watch as a work of art meant to be passed down through generations."
