Located in the Central district on Queen’s Road, the Emperor Watch & Jewellery has grandly unveiled its brand new Patek Philippe boutique. This store is now the largest in Hong Kong, spanning over 3,600 square feet, and stands out as one of the most significant flagship locations in Asia for the brand. The relocation from the same street to this new hotspot is set to inject fresh energy into the world of watch collecting.

This new store boasts an exquisite design, blending multiple innovative elements, with seven themed exhibition areas serving as a major highlight. One of the focal points is the first ever Museum exhibition area in all of Asia, specifically curated to showcase rare and limited timepieces from Patek Philippe. A number of collectors have generously lent their private treasures, with the exhibits regularly updated to ensure that every visit offers a fresh experience. Notably, among the displayed pieces is the 3969P-001 Patek Philippe 150th Anniversary Limited Edition platinum watch, with only 50 pieces produced worldwide. Featuring a jump hour function and a barrel-shaped case design, its rarity is exceptionally high.

Other standout pieces include the Ten-Day Tourbillon 5101P-010 launched in 2003, featuring a tourbillon mechanism made up of 72 parts that weighs just 30 milligrams. It not only achieves observatory-level precision but also boasts a remarkable ten-day power reserve. The version with the salmon colored dial is particularly rare. Another exhibit, the 5550P-001, is a perpetual calendar watch unveiled by the brand’s advanced research department in 2011, incorporating 17 patented technologies and limited to just 300 pieces. Its silver dial paired with rose gold hands and hour markers creates a striking contrast, seamlessly blending craftsmanship with design.

The boutique features several exclusive VIP areas, including a unique space adorned with gold leaf, designed specifically for esteemed clients to socialize and hold private gatherings. There is also a special lounge for distinguished customers, offering a platform for wine tasting and watch appreciation. Inside, you’ll find sculptures created by a French artist inspired by the breathtaking Hong Kong Victoria Harbour, embodying Patek Philippe’s commitment to artistry and craftsmanship.

To celebrate this grand occasion, Dr. Yang Shou-cheng, Chairman of Emperor Group, and Ms. Yang Naosi, Chairwoman of Emperor Watch & Jewellery, along with brand representatives, invited over a hundred guests to attend the opening cocktail party. The evening was star-studded, with celebrities like Tony Leung, Carina Lau, and Alex Fong gracing the event, enjoying the new store design and exclusive timepieces. The atmosphere was lively and quickly became the talk of the town.

Emperor Watch & Jewellery is a renowned brand with a long-standing history in the industry, and this new specialty store further solidifies its leading position in the luxury watch retail market. This space, which combines rare timepieces, an artistic atmosphere, and innovative display areas, not only offers customers a multi-sensory experience but also serves as an essential landmark for Patek Philippe enthusiasts and collectors.
